Autumn time, clocks change, charity and uncovered pictures – Week 30 (November 2010)

Lots happened this week. Firstly we are into a new month; also the clocks went back so we gained an hour extra sleep (hooray!) and the beautiful colours of Autumn came out – they were stunning and looked like a picture postcard.

Mum and I had done a lot in the house and took some of my old toys and games to the Children’s Ward at our local hospital. To see the smiles on the children’s and staff’s faces was so touching, we know every item will be used well. Also some clothes got taken to the Homeless Shelter, again the smiles there meant so much – it’s always lovely to be able to be a blessing to someone else. Lastly we managed to take some other items to the British Heart Foundation which can be used to help raise money for their charity.

I continue to learn so much about dad as each day goes on and this week was no exception. We uncovered some of his old diaries from when he used to travel and some pictures of him from being a baby all the way through to his late 20’s and wedding day. They made mum and I smile so, so much, dad truly was and still is a very special person :)
