You can certainly tell that winter is round the corner with how cold it has got. Despite the weather mum and I made it out a lot to get lots of coffee (of course!) plus to have some fun looking at cars. Little did we know how much time you can lose while looking at cars, mum enjoyed it though and was lovely to see her smiling.
Still uncovering and finding out more about dad and some of the photos of him have made us chuckle lots. Some of his friends came round during the week which was nice and we all went out – meant no cooking for us! Never thought I would start to say I am getting the hang of this cooking business!
Icing on the cake for me this week was seeing a good friend of mine from NC. Hard to think I haven’t seen her since April, you always know when you have a good friendship because no matter the distance between you both when you talk etc its like you have never been away. Oh and of course I was smiling as some double stuffed oreo’s and trail mix made it over – yeah!
